The Oxford 2014 word of the year was……Vape
The dictionary defines "vape" as either a noun meaning "an electronic cigarette or similar device" or a verb in which one would "inhale and exhale the vapor produced by an electronic cigarette or similar device."
Casper Grathwohl, president of Oxford’s dictionaries division, told TIME, “Vape only really caught on a few years ago and now we’ve seen a dramatic rise.”
The other words that vape beat out in the race were; bae, budtender, contactless and indyref. This explains the exploding popularity of vaping and the global love for it.
Needless to say, it’s time to vape.
Join the revolution.
Love to Vape.
